Andrew, a graduate of the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA, has 25 years of filmmaking experience across multiple disciplines.

After studying acting at the Vancouver Film School and producing the feature Debating Christ, Andrew moved to New York to intern with esteemed producer Ted Hope. The internship led to a mentorship with Academy Award-nominated editor Susan E. Morse (Manhattan, Music and Lyrics), and a stint as a junior agent at NY Office, a boutique-sized artist management company.

He went on to develop stories for PanOptic, an award-winning film and television design and animation company (now ODD; Office of Development and Design), and write original screenplays for Gotham Award-winning producer Andrew Corkin (Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?), and producer René Bastian, whose films include the Academy Award-nominated Transamerica.

He is currently promoting his original historical dramatic script, Portobelo (here), and recently served as a story consultant on the feature project Lil’ Aminals [sic] for director Gary Breslin, with Cary Woods (Scream, Godzilla) attached to produce.

“Andrew…listens well, asks intelligent questions, has a positive attitude, is always eager to learn more and thinks outside the box…but I remember most vividly our discussions of character development and story structure.”

Susan E. Morse, Academy Award-nominated editor
